It always seems a waste when I see a train without my kids.

Results of my bagel experiment. As you can tell, they fell apart a bit in the water and became more spiral-like. Still, probably worth trying again.
To pieces of bread in more of a crescent than bagel shape. Covered with sesame seeds.

(I listen to audio books while taking my morning walk with Calvin and Hannah almost feels like family at this point)

[14 years later and I still feel a deep sense of gratitude for the books and podcasts that helped keep me saner my first year after having a kid. Sometimes they felt like the only good thing in my life. I’m not sure I would have survived without them.]

It’s a wrap around skirt made with rain coat-type fabric. So, basically a raincoat for the lower half of my body. Haven’t tried it out yet so I’m not sure how well it works yet.

I can verify my rain skirt works. Not perfect but good enough for a lunch walk in the rain. It had a tendency to ride up when I was walking fast so the lower part of my calves got a little rain. Overall stayed pretty dry though.

I’m still annoyed my iPhone doesn’t have a headphone jack. (Had to remove the lightning adapter prior to plugging earbuds into my computer and will frantically be re-adding it next time I get a phone call.)

I also have four Bluetooth earbuds (2 for my audiobooks at night on my Android phone and 2 for the day on my iPhone). I still prefer corded earbuds for some things.

The charges are always legit. It’s just the items on receipts, and order emails, are often grouped differently than how the credit card gets charged. Thus, support and I often have weekly-monthly chats trying to figure out how to reconcile everything.
