Calvin woke up for about 45 min around 2:30. He did eventually go back to sleep.

He woke up again at his normal time but I was hoping he’d sleep in since he was awake in the middle of the night.

I just discovered that Calvin is much less inclined to mash his food with his hands when holding a small bowl.

(Previously we used a spoon but he’s more inclined to try to shove that in his mouth while I’m trying to feed him.)

Oh, I forgot to mention. Yesterday after Calvin got out of the bath, he found the spring door jam. He had great fun twanging it.

Calvin’s really cranky so I’m going on our walk early. It’ll be the first time in the rain with Bob’s new weather shield :)

Actually, I think maybe he’s cranky because his gums are hurting him. He was avidly chewing on his hand while I changed his diaper.

Unfortunately, I can’t figure out how to make the weather shield work with the seat laid down but Calvin still managed to fall asleep.

Under the circumstances, daycare didn’t want to take Calvin back. My clothes were _sopping_ so they lent me a towel for the drive home.

We had to have a baby just to justify buying the Quatros.
Baby Julian sits on the ground holding a Quatro, which are 4 times as big as Duplos, and gnawing on it. Beside him is a turned over bin with more Quatros.
