The poor baby doesn’t seem to realize that if he laid down and screamed he’d eventually fall asleep but not while he stands and screams.

He stood and screamed for 10 min. I laid him down and he got back up and started again. After the 2nd 10 min, I laid him down and he stayed.

We saw Calvin lying placidly on the couch and thought, “that’s not right.” Sure enough, he has a temp of 101 axillary.

I just discovered that Calvin’s long-sleeve 3T shirts are now too short. Now, at 4 1/2, he might finally be outgrowing them.

I put the whole nativity out but it didn’t feel right. I guess Mary and Joseph are feeling introverted this year.
