Calvin got up at 7:00 instead of 7:30 today. Probably because he was soppy wet. His entire back was wet! Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready.

Today I dropped off Calvin early at daycare. I have to work extra to make up for tomorrow and then figure out what to pack.

I have Calvin’s “airport diaper bag” mostly packed for the journal. Just waiting on items we can’t pack yet such as bottles.

I think I have all my and Calvin’s stuff packed but I’m going to need Jaeger to do a sanity check for me. I’m pretty much out of time now.

Yeah, the chocolate chips appear too hard for Calvin but he’s happy to feed them to mommy.

Daycare also reports that Calvin wasn’t terribly enthusiastic about “splash days” and decided to play in the sand box instead.

I rubbed his back and said, “no, it’s time for night night” and he looked and me and then laid down in his normal sleep position.

Hm, it’s easier to get Julian to go for walks on rainy days because he gets to wear rain boots and use his Spider-Man umbrella.

We had plumbers at the new house today so I moved my office and am working the day here. The sunroom was fine until around 4 after which I relocated to the front yard.

It’s hot today so we’ve abandoned the house for the beach.
