Calvin woke at at 6:30. However, I went back upstairs after I got his bottle ready, and he was back asleep. Didn’t wake up again till 7:45.

Good morning! There were whales in spite of me bringing the binoculars! (This is not a whale picture. I didn’t even try with the phone.)
Smooth water, aside from the waves caused by the ship. In the distance we can see either mountains or hills.

Hiking the East Glacier Trail. The glacier is the Mendenhall Glacier (better picture potentially later, depending if I have cell coverage at that point).

Green trees, water, a hint of a glacier, and mountains.

I’m sure it will surprise no one to hear I bought books: Shanyaak’utlaax (Salmon Boy) and How Devil’s Club Came to Be
Two beautifully illustrated hardcover picture books. The first is titled Shanyaak'utlaax: Salmon Boy. It's says it's a Tlingit story edited by Johnny Marks, Hans Chester , David Katzeek , Nora Dauenhauer, and Richard Dauenhauer. Illustrated by Michaela Goade. The second book is titled How Devil's Club Came to Be by Miranda Rose Kaagweil Worl illustrated by Michaela Goade.
