I was originally planning to put the Eos swivel chair in the awkward corner. However, Calvin really wanted it close enough to lounge in while watching TV. Upon reflection, I realized a table could work in the corner for things like puzzles, writing, or electronic-free homework.

The two round dots in front of the fireplace are intended to be ottomans that can be easily moved to where we sit or provide additional seating. Behind the sofa I’m hoping to get a narrow console table we can put another light on.

I have given up and put the air conditioner back in my window. In November.

(I have ordered blackout shades which I think should help the situation, once they arrive. It’s not hot outside, there’s just too many windows and not enough ventilation in the sun room.)

Rough night last night. Calvin kept waking up intermittently after 10.

Got up at 5:00 and fed him. He fell asleep but woke up when I tried transferring him back to the crib.

Managed to get him back to sleep around 6 by holding him. Around 8 I needed to get up so, surprisingly, was able to transfer him to the crib
