I’m now drinking a smoothie that tastes exactly like liquid oatmeal. Probably because the ingredients are the same as oatmeal . . . I am relieved the sea salt is not organic.

I am out of baking powder at egg and I promised my kids muffins. Trying sweet potato instead of egg (no applesauce, banana or flaxseed in my house at the moment). I guess I’ll just do baking soda and hope for the best . . .

I created a requirements doc for the living room with contributions from @calvinsdad and Calvin. I stayed up way too later last night and have a new plan. Now that I have a plan, I can target my used furniture searches better.

I was originally planning to put the Eos swivel chair in the awkward corner. However, Calvin really wanted it close enough to lounge in while watching TV. Upon reflection, I realized a table could work in the corner for things like puzzles, writing, or electronic-free homework.

The two round dots in front of the fireplace are intended to be ottomans that can be easily moved to where we sit or provide additional seating. Behind the sofa I’m hoping to get a narrow console table we can put another light on.
