I am in a medical waiting room and Overdrive is refusing to open my ebook. Granted, the coverage here isn’t great but the ebook allegedly was already downloaded. *sigh* At least I’m not on a multi-hour plan ride.

Today’s adventures in online grocery shopping: I ordered 4 loose beets. I got 4 bunches of beets. So, I guess we’re having Asian pears and beets this week.

[Someone else responded with “One time Prime Now sent me a wrong order, among them are 4 16-OZ bottles of Apple cider vinegar and 4 packages of turkey slices. I felt a hint of guilt like I pried into somebody’s life.”]

I find it a little weird that no one else ever works on their computer during my commute. Possibly Caltrain is just different but the amount of time is about the same and more than 1/2 the people on the train would be working on their computers.

Julian is now automatically getting tested weekly for COVID-19 (Calvin is monthly since he is vaccinated). We get the results the day after and it’s so nice to see negative results. I really appreciate how the school/district/county is approaching this.

Someone appears to have broken into our car and rummaged around but didn’t take anything. To be fair, there’s not much to take but they didn’t even grab the emergency parking meter quarters. Also, they found the earbud I thought I had lost so I’m kind of excited.

Julian has gotten so much better in the water! He dog paddled (with life jacket) all over the pool rather than just staying on the steps.

Calvin is leaning back on an alien pool float while Julian, wearing alife jacket, floats nearby in a large indoor pool.

Over the phone applications should be optional but not required. I got our mail preview today and I’m pretty sure the garbage company misspelled my name. This happens a lot because people don’t listen when I spell it.
