Calvin slept in till 7 today, probably because of the late night.

As we were reading this morning, he started pointing at the pictures instead of just patting them.

Today for Calvin’s breakfast: cherry sweet potato and pear cottage cheese.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2010 9:41 AM
It’s time for Calvin’s nap but he doesn’t look even remotely tired.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2010 10:11 AM
He might be asleep now . . .

From daycare: “Calvin enjoyed playing in the mirror today!”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2010 5:52 PM
Calvin still hasn’t figured out that he’s suppose to _swallow_ the food he puts in his mouth.

Our house is down to 57 degrees. Brrrr

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2011 7:46 AM
Calvin is trying to tell ME that I’m “all done” with breakfast.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2011 10:18 AM
We have heat! (and it wasn’t as costly as I was afraid of)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2011 12:19 PM
I’m paranoid now and keep checking the thermometer but the temp appears to be staying steady.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2011 4:36 PM
Calvin has reached the, “I’m hungry but you can’t make me eat” stage.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2012 6:11 PM
From daycare, “Calvin had fun making a big lego tower.”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2012 6:11 PM
In other news Calvin now takes maybe one nap a week at daycare.

I didn’t see a single person on my walk today till I get to the grocery store.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2014 10:31 AM
I’m not quite sure what to make of the fact that Willow and I just got into a hissing fight. (She was chewing my computer cord.)

I saw frozen pigeon peas and couldn’t resist so this is what we’re having for lunch:

1/3 Calvin went to a CU women’s basketball game with his class yesterday.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2015 8:10 AM
2/3 He really enjoyed it and asked his teacher if this is a game boys can play too.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2015 8:11 AM
3/3 His teacher thought it was a wonderful question and noted it was amazing to see the effect not watching sports TV at home has.
[Additional context: His teacher was a female basketball player and played both professionally (in Europe) and while in college (in the US).]

No peanut butter. How am I going to eat lunch?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2016 11:10 AM
Yes, it does look like we actually got 1 ft of snow.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 2, 2016 2:28 PM
Well, I guess it’s time to shovel the driveway.

No matter how many Duplos we own, the kids always navigate to new ones.

Well, online school continues to involve an astonishing amount of troubleshooting. Today’s issue: Windows was refusing to show the “headset” volume so Calvin couldn’t adjust the volume down to a comfortable level.
