Calvin appears to be eating green vegetables!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2010 7:40 AM
We had Fettuccine with Harvest Vegetables last night and I pureed up a bit for Calvin before adding the cheese & salt.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2010 8:53 AM
Calvin is using one of his old formula cans as a drum.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2010 11:46 AM
That was kind of strange, Calvin was feeling cuddly after his nap.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2010 5:43 PM
I think the harvest vegetable mix was a success. Calvin ate some for breakfast and ate all of it for lunch.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2010 8:11 PM
I decided not to give Calvin ibuprofen tonight. I hope this doesn’t end in tears for either of us.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2011 8:26 AM
I think I need to start checking Calvin’s items out on his card.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2011 8:56 AM
Hm, I forgot Calvin isn’t a “resident” of HPLD and so can only check out 10 books at a time.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2011 8:47 AM
I suppose this means I should figure out some of my books to return.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2011 2:15 PM
I just finished dusting all our bookshelves (taking the books out and everything). I think I could now stuff a couple of pillows with dust.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2011 5:59 PM
From daycare: “Calvin loved driving the school bus ALL over the room today! :)”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2013 3:38 PM
Calvin’s 1st (correctly answered) story problem: “We need 3 tbs of Cocoa and we’ve put 1 tbs in. How many more do we need?”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2013 7:39 PM
Hmmm . . . bought 3 new smoke detectors. One started malfunctioning the moment I put the batteries in. Doesn’t inspire confidence.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2015 1:39 PM
I think baby is trying to re-position. This is good but very uncomfortable and distracting.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2016 7:19 AM
Julian’s first feeding of the night was at 5 then he went back to sleep for another hour!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2017 10:37 AM
It’s raining so hard there are sheets of water running down our street.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2018 8:04 PM
I received 5 GIGANTIC sweet potatoes (13 lbs total) from the store and I’m not sure what to do with them. I was planning to bake them but I think they’re too big.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2018 8:05 PM
Wait, 6. They’re breeding.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 15, 2018 6:39 PM
I was right. One sweet potato is enough for our entire family.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 15, 2018 6:40 PM
And we still haven’t finished this one sweet potato . . .

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2019 7:39 AM
Two kids, bundled up in snow clothes, playing with snow on the deck.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2019 7:48 AM
Even though I have to work today, I still think snow is magical :)

I believe Julian’s chickens are highly evolved aliens that are masquerading as chickens. That’s the only way most of what they do makes sense.
Tweet from Julian @version2_1 My chickens have lots of sand, so they made their own beach. They had a lot of leftover sand when they were done making their beach, so then they made a desert. 8:07 AM · Feb 4, 2021 Post has one comment, one retweet, and one favorite.

Ted “Theodore” Logan @calvinsdad Feb 4, 2021 9:48 AM
But don’t try to suggest that to Julian, he’ll get upset.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2021 9:49 AM
Yes, that’s very true.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2021 11:08 AM
In this household, instead of hand-me-down clothes, we have hand-me-down desks. @calvinsdad got a new desk so Calvin got his and I got Calvin’s desk as my 2nd desk.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2021 11:08 AM
(I need one desk where I can supervise Calvin — in this house that is in Calvin’s room — and one where I can take meetings and retreat to once Calvin is done with school for the day.)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Feb 4, 2021 7:13 PM
Hmmm . . . there appears to be a shortage of the cat food Willow likes.
