Finished my first pumping of the morning. Today @calvinsdad takes care of Calvin while I run around doing useful things.

@calvinsdad is trying to coax Calvin to nap while I work on balancing our credit cards.

2010

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 7:18 AM
Calvin got up earlier than usual so he’s already had breakfast and is playing outside.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 2:57 PM
From daycare: “Calvin did a great job dancing and learning where his eyes, ears, mouth and nose were today!”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 3:42 PM
Calvin is talking to himself with a remote held up to either ear. Does he think they are phones?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 3:45 PM
Calvin is entertaining himself while I cook!!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 3:49 PM
Calvin is desperately trying to put his bottle into an old applesauce jar. It’s not going to fit.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 4:13 PM
I think Calvin is finding the very windy day outside invigorating. He’s sitting still on his truck with a huge grin.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 4:47 PM
It seems like having a Megafest at ones house every so often provides great motivation for cleaning up clutter in obscure corners.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2010 5:25 PM
Calvin is upset because he threw his sippy cup over the edge of the deck.

2011

I’m actually close to my Overdrive cko limit (loading up for vacation). I don’t think I’ve done that before.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2011 4:09 PM
Today at the library we were one of “those people.”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2011 4:10 PM
After the second, very long ecstatic shriek from Calvin I decided it was time to give up and go home.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2011 4:10 PM
I hope Calvin doesn’t decide to practice shrieking on the airplane tomorrow . .

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2011 4:18 PM
From daycare: “Calvin enjoyed our creative art this morning.”

2016

This is an interesting article: https://web.archive.org/web/20160520123325/https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/may/19/silicon-valley-wives-women-visa-immigration-work Not surprisingly, I found it via the Google spouse group.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 9:02 AM
Not specifically, but I can empathize. I am very fortunate to have lots of option. I just need more time to explore them.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 10:34 AM
Ok, my paper inbox is clear and papers are filed. Now on to the next thing.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 1:29 PM
My wiki is broken. It does not auto generate content when I create the “Meal Plan” entry.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 1:33 PM
Seriously!? Broccoli for 3.29/lb? (conventional, not organic)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 1:37 PM
I thought, maybe it’s so expensive because it’s out of season but asparagus is $5.49/each so . . . maybe we won’t eat veggies?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 2:38 PM
Ok, grocery shopping for SF done. Now to figure out what we’ll need to bring with us next week.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2016 5:07 PM
I don’t have everything done in my list but made significant progress today.

2018

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2018 6:44 AM
I don’t understand how waking up early means I don’t have time for breakfast. Though, maybe just because I wake up early doesn’t mean I should try to get more done. *sigh*

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2018 6:31 PM
I told Calvin to set the table and Julian said, “But I need my best friend Calvin to help me build the dump truck.” So, I’m setting the table.

2021

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 24, 2021 5:32 PM
Julian: Where’s the bag of apples?
Me: You ate them all.
