Apparently a tornado touched down in Frederick so the daycare followed their tornado training and moved all the kids into the bathroom.

I think Calvin has transitioned from crying mainly when he’s sleepy to crying when he’s tired. He just doesn’t seem to take naps well.

Most children’s books I just endure. However, this one makes me laugh every time.
Children's hardback book. The book is yellow orange with a red border. On it is a picture of a duck standing up dressed in a chef's outfit in front of a stove looking down at an ant on the floor. The book is called Henry's Awful Mistake and it's by Robert Quakenbush.

Good thing Julian decided to wear the Christmas pajamas today. I think they’ll be too small in December.
Toddler Julian is in his bedroom. He's dressed in green footed pajamas with Christmas images such as snowmen and santa claus.

USPS has informed me that “my package” is too large and I need to go pick it up at the post office.

1) “My package”? That does not narrow things down.
2) The only thing that might be too big is the 12′ rug that is suppose to be shipped via FedEx.

The only thing I’m expecting that is suppose to be shipped via USPS is something that should weigh under 1 lb and should come in a relatively small box. So, I’m mystified.

Yes, it was the relatively small item them were calling about. Turns out we have a new carrier who doesn’t know you’re suppose to put it by the mailbox, or some other random spot along the driveway.

The person I spoke to promised to try to get them to deliver the package tomorrow but couldn’t guarantee they’d do it and said I may need to come pick it up. Which . . . I won’t be doing.
