One of our nearby parks recently reopened and we finally had a chance to visit it today.
Nature themed playground equipment. It's made to look like it's sitting on top of a tree trunk and the railings and wals are brown. The slide in green. Julian is wearing a colorful baseball cap and a tie-dye shirt and is sliding down the slide.

Went on another walk around the house while on break and this time stopped to read the chalk writing: “Days in quarantine hop scotch”
Chalk writing on a sidewalk says Days in Quarantine Hop Scotch and then has chalk boxes with numbers in them. We see numbers 1 through 13 before it starts getting indistinct.

Here’s Calvin zoo. It contains an elephant, a zebra, a giraffe, and a tree for the giraffe.
On a table sits a green lego baseboard. On the baseboard are blocky legos put together in very rough approximation of animals. The blue legos are an elephant, the black and white legos are a zebra, the yellow legos are a giraffe, and then the tree is made with brown legos for the trunk and green for the leaves.

Is it wrong that I’m disturbed by crayons did not arrive correctly organized by color? These are going to be Julian’s so they’re going to last a couple of minutes. But still . . .
Picture of crayons in an art case. The crayons colors are mixed together so there's a purple then a yellow, then a gray crayon all next to each other. Some crayons are organized better by color such as the greens.

Today, as I walked up the stairs to Calvin’s room, I didn’t hear any frantic clicking as he tried to hide his non-school activities. I took that as a good sign until I realized he was still asleep. I hadn’t bothered to check as I heard both alarms go off.
