2009

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2009 10:34 AM
Induction is officially planned for a week from this Thursday. The doctor’s keep being shocked I haven’t gone into labor already.

Just got back from getting a lab down at the hospital. Last CBC was completely normal but they wanted to check again.

2010

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2010 7:34 AM
I think Calvin is adjusting better to the time change than I am.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2010 8:41 AM
Ugh, I hate how eggs smell. (I boiled one for Calvin to try as finger food. This may be the 3rd time I’ve boiled an egg in my life.)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2010 9:50 AM
Baby-related quandary: hold the hands or the feet when changing a dirty diaper? Neither option seems to work well.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2010 5:42 PM
From daycare: “Calvin is very good at waving :) ” (odd, I hadn’t noticed that)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2010 5:52 PM
Calvin doesn’t seem remotely interested in trying egg. Can’t say I blame him . . .

2011

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2011 5:04 PM
Calvin has been invited to his first birthday party.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2011 5:04 PM
From daycare: “Calvin worked hard to build big tall block towers today!”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2011 5:04 PM
In other news, Calvin did not take a nap at daycare.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2011 5:13 PM
Calvin is asking to use the computer by saying tuu! tuu!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2011 5:13 PM
I’m trying to explain that he’s already had his “screen time” allocation for the day but he doesn’t believe me.

2012

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2012 11:48 AM
5 does not seem to realize that I’m locked out of the house just like she is.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2012 11:48 AM
At least it’s pleasant on the deck and I have power and wireless. What more do I need?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2012 5:50 PM
I think I might need to turn the air conditioner on early. It’s 80 degrees on the main level.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2012 5:51 PM
Of course, I’ve been saying this for the past week. It’s psychologically hard to turn it on in March.

2013

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2013 7:55 AM
I hear Calvin coughing, then he says to me, “I have an unnecessary cold.”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2013 8:03 AM
I’m always suspicious when my pancakes turn out looking like they’re in a TV add. Did I accidentally forget and add some plastic?

2014

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2014 2:10 PM
I’m not sure what to think about Calvin wanting to spend more time in Peppercorn than me.

2015

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2015 11:12 AM
My chives are starting to grow!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2015 4:26 PM
One more document and the county clerk might let me register the van. I _knew_ they were going to say I was missing something.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2015 4:26 PM
We need an “affidavit of facts” to put my name on the title so I can register it.

2017

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2017 8:18 PM
New Windows 10 computer. 4 GB of updates.

2020

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2020 8:42 AM
Motivational complaint of the day: “I was promised zombies. Where are the zombies?!”
Whiteboard with green, fairly sloppy, writing. On the top right corner it says I was promised zombies. Where are the zombies!? The top left says 3/16/2020. The rest of the text is a schedule: 9:00 - Math (multiplying/dividing fractions, decimals, word problems); 10:00 - Short Walk; 10:15 Reading (Non-fiction, fill out story works sheet); 11:15 - Lunch/Freetime; 12:45 - Long Walk; 1:15 - Writing (Roanoke - write what you think happened - rough draft); 2:00 - Social Studies (Indigenous History Note & Introduction); 2:45 - Short Walk; 3:00 - Music (The Beatles); 3:30 - Freetime; 4:00 - Online Coding; 6:00 - Supper

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 16, 2020 5:11 PM
I seriously considered whether or not it was a good idea to take a meeting in the laundry room when it was scheduled at the same time as Calvin’s online coding class. It might still happen. https://www.seattletimes.com/opinion/mom-is-the-coronavirus-over-yet/
