I’m in the midst of balancing both Calvin’s Q1 and Q2 529 statements. I think doing them together was a good choice. I knew the end of Q1 was bad but didn’t actually look at the numbers till now.

Well, I suppose when life gives you three extra bottles of lemon juice, make lemonade. Though, I think that would be enough lemon juice for a large party worth of lemonade. So far, we’ve used 3/4 cup.

Tons of people out and about in Queen Anne but they are all wearing face masks.
A pair of what I believe to be Chinese-inspired stone guardian lions angled with their backs mostly against each other. The picture is directly facing one lion which has a white KN95 mask on. The other lion is mostly facing away but it appears to have a blue mask on.

Our air conditioner is having trouble. The cooling guy has to turn on the heat in order to work on it. This is not pleasant in summer.

I think Julian sneakily figured out a way to get double stories: 1) pretend he’s ready to go to bed extra early 2) AFTER the stories are done, decide he’s not ready to go to bed yet and needs to take a bath.

I realize the odds that Julian will die, or even need to be hospitalized, if he gets COVID-19 are really low. However, Julian got pretty sick in 2019. Not bad enough to need to see a doctor but it was borderline since even with ibuprofen, his temp stayed high.

Just a run-of-the-mill fever fever was pretty stressful.
@calvinsdad and I alternated taking off work and I spent most of the time holding him while he lay like a ghastly shadow of his normal self.

So, even if Julian likely wouldn’t die, I don’t want him to get sick. Particularly, when it could have been prevented by other people behaving responsibly.
