On the way to the airport. Calvin has been cranky this morning :(

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 9:33 AM
Made it through security fine with baby. PDX TSA were very helpful.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 2:17 PM
On ground at DIA after a good flight.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 3:29 PM
On the shuttle but it might take awhile because we go via Broomfield.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 3:44 PM
Calvin is napping!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 4:58 PM
Home!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 5:41 PM
I was afraid that coming from mom’s house, ours would feel cold but I’ve been running around so much today 71 feels a touch warm.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2010 6:37 PM
Calvin seems to be having fun in his bath tonight.

Grandma and I are taking Calvin to the zoo today.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2011 3:41 PM
The zoo was a success. Unfortunately, Calvin only got 1/2 nap but at least he got one.

2012

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2012 9:23 AM
Oh good, I’ve crashed my new work iPhone with the very first app I tried to download.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2012 5:32 PM
Me: “Calvin, would you like to go look at the house that might be our new home?” Calvin: “Yeah, bring it over here to the TV.”

2013

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2013 1:55 PM
Playing this Saturday for church and I _still_ can’t find an offertory I like.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2013 5:45 PM
The Lego candy was a big success. If I get ambitious, there may be pictures later.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2013 6:04 PM
Whew, I finished picking all the silicone pieces off the Legos used for the mold.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2013 7:09 PM

Mental note: next time something comes in styrofoam sheets, get rid of the styrofoam before Calvin gets home.

I’m making pie for pi day: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/old-fashioned-pecan-pie-recipe

2016

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2016 9:46 PM
I’ll be seeing @calvinsdad in less than 24 hrs!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2016 9:46 PM
Unfortunately, my bags are not packing themselves.

2020

I slept in this morning. Julian came to my bed and informed me that he was really hungry and had toasted two pieces of bread and got the strawberry jam and a plate out. (Though, it turns out he couldn’t open the strawberry jam.)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2020 3:47 PM
Possibly I should have investigated the noises earlier.
A living room with two sofas pushed together. Scattelde on top and around the sofas are boxes, various backpacks, along with misc other things including an iPad.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2020 4:28 PM
The WSJ has an article titled “Silicon Valley Was First to Send Workers Home. It’s Been Messy”. First, whether or not work from home is viable should not be determined on our current situation.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2020 4:29 PM
I know how to work from home and, in general, am more productive working from home than when I’m in the office. Last Thursday was probably the least productive work day I’ve ever had but it wasn’t because I was working from home.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2020 4:32 PM
Second, it takes time for an organization to figure out how to make work from home work, even if they technically have all the tools. It takes practice item.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2020 4:34 PM
Third, in a normal situation, not everyone should work from home. I’m really productive but I can ignore kids that are screaming right outside my door. @calvinsdad, not so much. You can’t make assumptions on how other people work based on how you work.

2021

So . . . found a bug in my credit card’s website. Sent them the info via their contact us form. Got a response that I have to call to submit a website bug. I guess that bug isn’t going to get fixed.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Mar 14, 2021 8:21 PM
Ahhhhhh!!!!!

(This scream brought to you by Calvin and his homework.)
