My work laptop is dead :( I guess I’ll be using Adara for the next couple of days but she’s not designed to do much in Windows.

Calvin _does not_ like it when I try to sharpen knives.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2010 3:36 PM
Calvin is currently in the Beco carrier engaged in grooming my head.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2010 5:28 PM
Calvin had fun playing in tho sand at the park.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2010 5:28 PM
I met a woman who has an 8-month version of Calvin. We enjoyed ranting together about everyone who has placid babies :)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2010 7:07 PM
Calvin opened up the baby gate by himself. (There is another step to make it harder, guess it’s time.)

From daycare: “Calvin had fun loading up the wagon with lots of toys.”

I think our cats are learning to mimic Calvin in order to get my attention better.

Got up at 4am but now am officially done with work for the day. Trying to figure out if taking a nap would work.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2012 5:34 PM
I checked out Crayola Art Studio for Calvin’s computer from the library and he seems to like it.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2012 7:32 PM
I’m trying to convince Calvin it’s time for bed because I want to sleep since I have to get up early tomorrow again.

2013

Calvin is wearing a pair of my disposable latex gloves on his feet. They look like little flippers.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2013 5:47 PM
We seem to have pigeons outside . . . I don’t think I’m seen pigeons in a subdivision before.

2016

I haven’t had breakfast yet and I just started a 3 hr meeting.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2016 9:10 AM
I’m waiting for life to get less crazy but it’s not happening yet.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2016 5:07 PM
Ok, we’ve moved back to our house, I’ve sent off my fingerprints, worked, and taken Calvin to the dr.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2016 5:08 PM
Now all I have to do is eat, put the kids to bed, repair the external wall next to the fireplace, and finish up work.

Huh, that worked. Turns out a Pacific Science Center membership does give us free access to OMSI.

Julian is at the shipping container exhibit in OMSI. He is loading pretend shipping containers onto a hook for a crane too tall to be caught in the picture.

Calvin is enjoying our hotel’s pool. Julian is less interested in getting in. (Though last night I did get him to try floating in his back, briefly.)
Calvin is in a swimming pool. He's dressed in a bright yellow swim shirt, his hair is pasted flat to his head from the water, and he has swim goggles on. We see Julian's back as he sits on the edge of the pool.

Well, this could get interesting. QFC has limited milk to 1 gallon per customer. Normally, I get 2 a week. I picked up some UHT milk I’m going to try for baking (no limit on it) and we’ll see if I have to do an extra grocery store run this week.

We’re doing a small Easter egg hunt. Turns out we had decoy eggs. The one shown below is one of the shaking musical eggs. This wasn’t on purpose but I shall remember for next time.
Small plastic bin filled with little playdoh tools and a small orange colored egg.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2020 3:49 PM
Both of them have walked past this egg multiple times.

We have now reached the point where I’m trying to remember where I put the remaining eggs. I did count before putting them out!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2020 4:03 PM
Ok, we only need to find one more . . .

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 12, 2020 4:19 PM
We have found them all! Related, I bought 2 giant eggs for each kid filled with non-candy stuff. Julian’s had play dough in it. He is now enjoying running around with 1/2 the egg as a hat.
Julian stands in the living room. He has half of a very large and yellow plastic egg covering his head like an oversized hat.
