Calvin dug a hole.
Calvin placed a red beach chair in a large hole he dug in the sand and is sitting in it. The hole is about as deep as the chair is tall. He’s eating chips while wearing his chrome goggles.

The hole has been embellished. Calvin has also embedded an LED light and created an alcove for his sandals.

Filling in the hole was a group effort which greatly entertained the youngest children and left everyone’s filthy.

My lamp has arrived!! Now I can read on my side of the bed!

(Our house is woefully lacking built-in lighting and we don’t yet own the right lighting fixtures to compensate. Our floor lamp was on @calvinsdad’s side of the bed.)
