Calvin slept without a peep until 6:15!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 9:36 AM
Now configuring my new work laptop. I would have been happier if this had been a planned upgrade.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 10:56 AM
I don’t know if anyone else uses the RSS feeds I set up for our catalog but I keep finding all sorts of interesting stuff with them :)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 1:16 PM
I’m having trouble getting use to the lack of a middle button on my work laptop even though I’ve never had the option on my home laptop.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 2:38 PM
From Daycare: “Calvin enjoyed clapping his hands today :)” “Calvin did great in Rocky Mountain [first steps classroom] today :)”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 5:43 PM
Just got back from the park. Calvin had fun climbing up to the slide by himself (and then slid down with me).

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2010 5:43 PM
Calvin also ate sand for the first time today.

2011

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2011 1:30 PM
I was trying to figure out why I was wanting lunch again till I remembered I hadn’t had lunch yet.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2011 6:07 PM
From daycare: “Calvin enjoyed rolling up balls of playdough today!”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2011 6:37 PM
Tried fennel instead of celery in the Sicilian Lentil Soup tonight and I think it’s pretty good.

2012

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2012 11:47 AM
Calvin took his cheap blue ball and started drawing on it with crayon. Upon me objecting he responded, “but mom, I’m making a globe.”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2012 6:43 PM
It turns out at least 1/4 of Calvin’s books never made it into LibraryThing. Am remedying that as I pack.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2012 6:46 PM
Calvin wants us to wrap our moving boxes up in wrapping paper.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2012 7:51 PM
I dearly love our roomba but I think the little pieces of paper, boxes, etc from moving might have it outclassed.

2013

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2013 10:51 AM
4 yr checkup: 34 lbs, 38 1/2″

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2013 10:52 AM
We also have an official recommendation to see a speech therapist.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2013 11:31 AM
Promised Calvin ice cream but Glacier was closed :( Substituting with Dairy Queen.

2014

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2014 12:19 AM
Finished my data extract. The moon is partially eclipsed but I think I’m going to bed instead of waiting another 40 min.

2015

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2015 7:19 PM
I think Julian has outgrown the legs of his pajamas (the other parts still fit).

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2015 7:20 PM
The 3-6 month legs fit better.

2016

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 3:29 PM
We have food! @calvinsdad will be able to eat when he gets here.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 3:39 PM
I’m letting Julian roll the watermelon like a bowling ball. Probably shouldn’t but he’s having so much fun.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 3:40 PM
It’s raining!

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 3:46 PM
Julian sure loves plain greek yogurt.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 5:15 PM
Blackberries taste better when dipped in potato cheese soup.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 5:20 PM
I don’t trust ice cream that I accidentally put in the fridge for a couple of hours then put back in the freezer and it tuns out the same.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2016 5:22 PM
I think I need to go back to requiring Calvin pick from certain ice cream brands.

2018

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom Apr 15, 2018 8:42 PM
Julian wanted to go to bed early which I thought was strange but then I fell asleep rocking him. So maybe we all need more sleep in our lives?

First poppies of the season!

A front yard with a close up of orange california poppies, still tightly furled. In the background are purple hyacinth, and 3 pink tulips.

Also, more tulips.

A front yard flower bed with a closeup of pink tulips, still mostly closed.
