Just finished breastfeeding and feeding Calvin. Now to breakfast and pumping.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 10:41 AM
Finished pumping. If I hurry, I can take Calvin on a walk before the next feeding cycle starts.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 11:39 AM
We successfully walked to the park today. However, I turned around when a huge gust of wind started up.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 12:02 PM
If I wake Calvin up now will he go back down for an afternoon nap?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 12:02 PM
I’m not sure I want to risk it.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 12:03 PM
I think I’m going to take this opportunity for a shower.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 12:36 PM
The siesta is over. It’s definitely time to feed again.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 1:54 PM
Well, Calvin appeared to be finished eating. However, now that I’m hooked up to the pump he’s complaining. Maybe he’s just cranky?

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 2:00 PM
He appears to like taking mini-naps between feedings. Unfortunately, it’s not very efficient.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 2:41 PM
To make up for yesterday, it appears that Calvin is taking both a late morning _and_ a early afternoon nap :)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2009 2:48 PM
Calvin just woke himself up by spitting formula up through his nose. He is not happy.

2010

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 7:46 AM
Calvin started waking up a little before 5 but when I picked him up at 6:30 he laid his head down on my shoulder and went back to sleep.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 7:47 AM
We’re just now working on breakfast.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 3:05 PM
From daycare yesterday: “Calvin enjoyed dancing to music with friends today :)”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 3:05 PM
From daycare today: “Calvin had a blast playing with instruments today!”

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 6:14 PM
Calvin and I went outside and wandered around our house for more than an hour. I’m exhausted.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 6:14 PM
I’ve also been eating way more chocolate chips today than I should. Probably should find a healthier energy food.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 7:13 PM
Calvin is actually having fun splashing in his bath.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 7:16 PM
He is now blowing bubbles in the tub and giggling.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 7:30 PM
It feels like I’ve been tweating about Calvin less frequently but I think it’s because he’s so mobile it’s hard to follow with the computer.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 8:38 PM
Going to fold diapers and Calvin’s clothes as I watch an episode of _Castle_ then I need to do a bit of after-hours library work.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2010 10:09 PM
I know I’m up too late when @calvinsdad goes to bed before me. However, I’m finally done with work for the night.

2011

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2011 7:55 AM
Calvin has developed a sudden passion for Soy Milk. I’m dubious since it’s more processed than regular milk. Of course, I prefer soy milk.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2011 3:05 PM
I’ve been off the internet for more than 1/2 the day. It seems like more should have happened.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2011 5:32 PM
From daycare: “Calvin had a busy morning giving and making Mother’s Day cards.”

2012

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2012 6:27 PM
From daycare, “Calvin enjoyed using lacing cards!”

2014

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2014 12:09 PM
I’ve made my monthly pilgrimage to Vitamin Cottage. Objectively, we probably have enough food for 6 months.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2014 2:45 PM
It’s probably not a good sign that we’re only in May and I feel the weather is too hot.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2014 4:24 PM
Calvin just brought a whole mess of hangers down from his bedroom. Science project, art project, or torture device?

2015

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2015 1:45 PM
I successfully went walking with Julian in the Boba carrier!!

2016

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2016 7:08 AM
Ok, I put _some_ dishes dirty in the dishwasher last night and everything was clean in the morning.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2016 7:09 AM
I’m not completely sold but it is good to at least consider changes long-standing routines.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2016 7:09 AM
Though I think for now I’ll only try it with freshly dirty dishes where I run the load immediately.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2016 2:38 PM
I set aside time to plan where things go in the new kitchen but I spent most of the time blindly staring at our current kitchen.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2016 5:42 PM
Dirtiest load yet. How well is the dishwasher going to work . . .

2017

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2017 5:57 PM
My weekend begins! @calvinsdad isn’t home supper so we’re eating junk food :)

2019

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 9:28 AM
Julian appears to have made the connection that when he’s running a fever he gets as much juice as he wants.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 11:24 AM
Julian is still sick which is too bad because it’s an absolutely gorgeous day.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 3:56 PM
Julian is feeling better. So much so that he is insisting on trying a pedal bike. He is not ready. This will end in tears.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 3:58 PM
Ok, he did not actually insist on falling down before figuring out he needed more time on the balance bike.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 4:07 PM
We have a rose!

Close up of a rose with white petals and dark pink edges.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 4:10 PM
Also, the poppies are happy today.

A bunch of California poppies. The poppies are bright orange flowers with deep green leaves.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 4:13 PM
More flowers.

A large bush covered in bright purple flowers.

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2019 6:53 PM
Yes! I can make crepes with this stove.

2020

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2020 4:22 PM
The problem with sesame bagels is the seeds get everywhere. (Also, I should have bought at least 2x as much as I did.)

Kiesa @spreadsheetmom May 4, 2020 8:31 PM
One thing about masks, they do a good job of keeping the tiny swarms of bugs out of my nose.
