Of course he had to include a zombie.
Black ink drawing, colored in with crayon, of a zombie picking up a giant glass of lemonade from the table. The lemonade is in a clear glass with a slice of lemon on top of the glass and a red and white striped straw. The zombie is green with one bloodshot eyeball in the eye socket and one bloodshot eyeball falling out of the eye socket. The glass of lemonade appears to be as big as half of the zombie's body.

I’m done with power pumping for the day. After 10 min on 10 min off for 8 hrs I’m relieved to be back to only 1 pumping every 2 hrs.

Well, now that I have most of the books packed, I have to figure out where to store them. This is my current solution for some of them. These are good solid bookcases so hopefully they can take the weight . . .

Three tall bookshelves, with 5 shelves each, with a numbered box on each shelf and then additional numbered boxes on top of the bookcases.

I’m always bemused when men go out of their way to offer to carry “heavy” things for me that weigh less than my children do. No one ever offers to carry my children for me.

[There was some follow-up Twitter conversation about whether I’d be willing to hand my kids over to as stranger to carry and, to be fair, I would not. It’s really more an underlying annoyance with our society teaching men that women need help carrying heavy things but need only minimal caregiving support. (I do think this is changing. Slowly.)]
